Relief Efforts

Disaster Relief Support at University Presbyterian Church

Contributing Financial Donations

At this time, no active disaster relief efforts are underway in our region. When crises occur, financial contributions are a powerful way to support recovery, providing essentials like food, shelter, and medical aid. To stay updated on future opportunities to give, please:

  • Visit our Mission and Peacemaking page for the latest relief campaigns.

  • Contact our church office at 225-383-0345.

  • Explore Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) at www.pcusa.org/pda.

Organizing Volunteer Groups

If you’re part of a group—whether from another church, state, or organization—eager to volunteer for disaster recovery in the Baton Rouge area, we’re grateful for your support. UPC partners with Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) to coordinate volunteer efforts effectively. To get involved:

  • Contact PDA’s National Call Center at 866-732-6121 or email pda.callcenter@pcusa.org to discuss opportunities and needs.

  • Reach out to UPC at [insert contact info] for local coordination and support.

  • Visit www.pcusa.org/pda for more details.

We deeply appreciate PDA’s dedication to organizing relief efforts and supporting communities in need.

Join UPC’s Mission

When no relief efforts are active, consider engaging with UPC’s ongoing mission work, including local outreach and global initiatives. Learn more on our Mission and Peacemaking page or join us for worship on Sundays (11:00 a.m. fall/spring, 10:00 a.m. summer). Contact us at 225-383-0345 to explore ways to serve.

Thank you for your heart for service and partnership with UPC and PDA!
